Kristin didn’t just provide a basic redesign of kyjustice.org, she transformed how our nonprofit connects people in crisis with critical legal help. From the very beginning, she brought clarity, structure, and a mission-driven mindset to the project. Kristin took the time to understand our users and prioritized their experiences throughout. She conducted usability testing with real people, actively listened to our clients’ needs, and ensured every design decision supported access to justice.

The result is a site that’s clear, accessible, and genuinely useful. In the year following the relaunch in March 2022, KYJustice.org served over 156,000 users. In the second year, that number nearly doubled to more than 309,000 users. A 2025 statewide usability and accessibility study rated the site 4.2 out of 5, demonstrating its lasting value and continued effectiveness. It has become a trusted resource across Kentucky and is linked by the Kentucky Court of Justice and used at Legal Help Centers throughout the Commonwealth.
